By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions below.

Copyright

The artist retains full copyright over all artwork created, including mock-ups, final pieces, and prints. When commissioning a portrait, I reserve the right to display the artwork in my online gallery, on my website, and across my social media platforms for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish for your commissioned portrait to be publicly displayed, please inform me before the work begins.

I will never create or sell reproductions of a client’s pet portrait to anyone else.

Payment Terms

A non-refundable booking fee of $200 AUD is required to secure a commission slot. This fee covers the time reserved in my schedule, consultation, preparation, and the planning stage of your portrait. The booking fee is separate from the commission price.

Once the mock-up has been approved and all final details have been confirmed, the remaining commission balance must be paid in full before work begins.

Artwork will not be created or shipped until full payment has been received.

Refund Policy

All payments, including the booking fee and commission payments, are non-refundable.

Payments secure my time, materials, and commitment to the commissioned artwork. By making a payment, the client acknowledges and agrees that refunds will not be provided.

Pricing

Artwork prices, including shipping fees, are subject to change at any time on the website.

Once a commission has been discussed, agreed upon, and the final price has been confirmed, any future price changes will not affect the agreed cost of that specific commission. This ensures that the price confirmed at the time of booking remains fixed for that artwork.

Shipping

Completed artwork will be delivered flat-packed, unmounted, and unframed, securely packaged to help prevent damage during transit.

Domestic Shipping (Australia)
All domestic artwork is shipped via Australia Post Express with signature on delivery. Shipping costs are based on artwork size:

XS + Small: $20 AUD
Medium + Large: $50 AUD
XL portraits: shipping calculated separately

International Shipping
International orders are shipped via Australia Post International Express with tracking included. Shipping costs are based on artwork size:

XS + Small: $60 AUD
Medium + Large: $80 AUD
XL portraits: shipping calculated separately

Any additional customs fees, import duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the client.

Framing

All portraits arrive unframed. Upon receiving your portrait, you will be provided with detailed instructions on how to care for your artwork. It is important to frame your portrait under glass with a proper mount to protect the pastel, and to have this done by a professional framer, as they have the necessary materials and expertise. For optimal preservation, it is best to frame your portrait as soon as possible after receiving it.

Revisions

Once the artwork is complete, I will send you a high-quality photo of the piece for your approval. Any significant changes to the artwork after the sketch phase may incur additional fees.

Changes to final artwork: if you request modifications that significantly differ from the original agreement, additional costs may apply. Once you have approved the artwork, no further changes will be made.

Pastel medium notice: due to the delicate nature of the pastel medium, major alterations to a completed piece may not always be feasible.

Artwork Care and Responsibility

Care instructions are provided with each artwork. Due to the delicate nature of soft pastel pieces, the artwork must remain in its original packaging with the protective glassine sheet attached until professionally framed. Responsibility for the condition of the artwork transfers to the client upon delivery or collection. Any damage to the pastel surface occurring after this point will require restoration work and will incur additional fees.
